Empire Review Like going home again - 4 out of 5  (5/28/2003) About halfway through the commentary of OLD SCHOOL, Director Todd Phillips tells how he originally envisioned the film as a comic version of FIGHT CLUB. Now Im just not sure how you can get much stranger than that. Assuming such a thing were even possible, you still cant discount the fact FIGHT CLUB was a fantastically original film and OLD SCHOOL is just another trip down college lane. You don't see to many good college/frat house movies being made anymore no surpise it was done by the director of "Road Trip". I think a lot a younger kids are really going to enjoy this one, just as I once enjoyed Animal House, Porky's, Revenge of the Nerds, etc.   more >>
