I should have had a bad feeling from the start concerning WES CRAVEN PRESENTS THEY. You see, usually, when a film opens, critics and various other bodies first screen it. These people then give the thumbs up or the thumbs down to the film. But in some extreme situations, the movie is not available for screening, and it goes out cold. This means one of two things: either the movie is so good that it doesnt need a thumbs up to sell it or its so bad that it doesnt stand a chance of get   more >>

This movie is so bad; I can't believe Wes Craven attached his name to it. There are numerous things that just don't make sense in the movie, like if THEY can turn out lights and blow out candles, then why don't THEY just flip the main breaker in a high rise and chow down? I'm all for hiding the monster until the big payoff, which was done effectively in movies like Alien, but there is never a payoff in this movie.
