Although he seems like a complete idiot, he is actually right about this murder case in a very small way... the fact that he manages to solve the case is pure luck. Elke Sommer was a sex symbol in the 60's and this was one of the first films she had done in English. The original PP was OK, but Peter Sellers outdid himself in this movie. Elke Sommers is great as the accused maid. A four star performance by Herbert Lom. Kato is great as Seller's butler.
