A Deadly New Attraction
Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong, Simon MacCorkindale and Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr. star in the most terrifying Jaws adventure ever. Everyone at Florida's Sea World is thrilled with the new "Undersea Kingdom", a maze of underwater plexiglass tunnels that permits visitors to get closer to marine life than ever before. The opening ceremonies include many important guests...and one uninvited baby shark who accidentally enters the park's lagoon through a faulty sea gate and subsequently dies. The young shark's 35-foot mother soon follows her offspring, creating the most horrifying tale of terror ever filmed in the water. Directed by original Jaws designer, Joe Alves, written by Richard Matheson and Carl Gottlieb and filled with heart-pounding special effects, this Jaws will have you screaming for your life.

An avergae disc, above average film - 3 out of 5 (6/2/2003)
There's a term in Hollywood called "Jumping The Shark." And JAWS 3 takes
that term a little too literally.
As far as I know, the term came to be when Fonzie attacked a shark on an
episode of HAPPY DAYS near the end of the shows run. It was that type of
situation that made the audience groan aloud, but it did make enough of an
impression to earn the situation a name for all time. Thus, when someone is
"jumping the shark", they are actually doing anything they can to win

Alright... - 2.75 out of 5 (6/17/2003)
This is defintely not one of the better Jaws films. The special effects are crap! Like in the sub scene(the effects look like something invented in 1800. I've seen better in earlier films. The plot was good though. This was the first were you really got a look at the shark underwater. It's okay but the effects drag it down. Would have been great if it had good effects. Stick with Jaws 1 and 2 and that's it.
