Fresh off his supporting roles in Black Rain and The Untouchables, actor Andy Garcia teamed with Richard Gere, in a thriller for director Mike Figgis. The end result is a solid film, that is able to rise above its cliches, thanks to its cast.

INTERNAL AFFAIRS is the story of a fight : the fight of a young member of the cops of the cops' team against a rotten member of the LAPD. Andy "RAMON" Garcia is hispanic, cold, married to a beautiful member of the artistic world of L.A. and dedicated to his job. Great Thriller !! - 4 out of 5 (3/20/1999)
Internal Affairs was a great hit at the box office, and I anticipate a great consumer
turnout for the DVD release. Andy Garcia and Richard Gere have gone on to bigger and better
things, but this is a true classic police thriller that deserves recognition.
For those who haven't seen it, the DVD experience will be really worthwhile for you!
