Customer Review Wonderful Screwball comedy - 4 out of 5  (8/14/2003) Director Norman Jewison's early work is among the best comedies of the 1960s, thanks largely to Carl Reiner's screenplay and a fine cast. There's never a dull moment in it as I kept laughing from start to finish. The warm ending moves the audience and lifts the film up to a higher level. After working with Rock Hudson in two comedies, Doris Day found herself a new partner - James Garner, and their chemistry on the screen is equally great.
