Good for kids, bad for me - 2.25 out of 5  (6/5/2003)
My wife and I sat down the other night to watch a movie and when I chose SUPER MARIO BROTHERS, her only comment was "You couldn't pay me to watch that movie." Unfortunately I couldn't say the same thing. So here I am exactly 110 minutes later wondering what's wrong with me. You see, I didn't love the movie, but I also didn't feel like I wasted my time. Not A Good Video Game Adaptation but a Popcorn movie. - 3 out of 5  (9/24/2004)
SUPER MARIO BROTHERS, one of the classic video games of all times, has turned into a movie. The story is dull and weak, the acting is somewhat OK and complete mess with different direction. SUPER MARIOS BROTHERS the movie is technically wrong for a movie making, goombas were not suppose to be that BIG according to the video game. King Koopa is suppose to fully transformed lizard but all the way throughout the movie is a normal human being. Princess Daisy didn't look quite right in this film. Usi   more >>
