Empire Review Good for kids, bad for me - 2.25 out of 5  (6/5/2003) My wife and I sat down the other night to watch a movie and when I chose SUPER MARIO BROTHERS, her only comment was "You couldn't pay me to watch that movie." Unfortunately I couldn't say the same thing. So here I am exactly 110 minutes later wondering what's wrong with me. You see, I didn't love the movie, but I also didn't feel like I wasted my time. It had its highs and its lows, and I decided to approach it from two   more >> Customer Review Not A Good Video Game Adaptation but a Popcorn movie. - 3 out of 5  (9/24/2004) SUPER MARIO BROTHERS, one of the classic video games of all times, has turned into a movie. The story is dull and weak, the acting is somewhat OK and complete mess with different direction. SUPER MARIOS BROTHERS the movie is technically wrong for a movie making, goombas were not suppose to be that BIG according to the video game.
