Sea Evil
Finders keepers. Any abandoned ship floating in international waters can be claimed and towed to port by whoever is fortunate enough to find it. Or, in the case of one team of salvage experts, unfortunate enough.
Ghost Ship is a stylish, effects-packed chiller from House On Haunted Hill and Thirteen Ghosts producers Joel Silver, Robert Zemeckis and Gilbert Adler. Salvagers trained for any situation imaginable come face to horrifying face with the unimaginable after boarding a derelict luxury liner. Julianna Margulies, Gabriel Byrne, Ron Eldard and Isaiah Washington are among the hands on deck who'll confront a seafaring collector of souls. Steve Beck (Thirteen Ghosts) directs this terror-de-force. Bon voyage, fright fans!

Set Sail for a Great Horror Film - 4.25 out of 5 (5/21/2003)
The improvements in horror films just keep getting better and better.
And if you remember that sharp breath of air you drew in when you saw your first beheading on a major motion picture screen, then you better have an Oxygen bottle handy when you watch the first four minutes of GHOST SHIP.
Because those first four minutes are the ones that will have you on the edge of the seat for the rest of the film. I won't go into details about the effect in question (because too many people have a

Underrated, yet still a horrible movie. - 3.25 out of 5 (7/12/2004)
I want to get something out in the open right now: I hated this movie. Hated, hated, hated, hated it. Hated it with an unbridled passion that I could've kept under wraps so that if I eventually got a scantily-clad woman in my bedroom I could put it to better use. On the other hand, my parents loved it. Loved it so much they watched it five times in a three-day weekend. Oh, how I regretted using the DVD as part of a buy-2-get-one-free deal because I knew my Mom liked horror and I already got two

This Movie Doesn't Just SUCK it BLOWS - 1.75 out of 5 (4/30/2003)
This is the worse movie I've ever seen, Just wasted 91 min of my life. I dont understand how the effects and gore of the horror movies in the eighties looks 100 times better then in this movie, everything looks fake, the story sucks, and the ending is even worse. The only thing this has is a cool 3d cover, why do movies that suck have the best covers and the best movies have the worst covers?
DO NOT BUY THIS, Rent it and you'll see.
