All right, listen up you primitive screw heads! Here is the straight shitake mushrooms on the newest DVD re-release of Army Of Darkness on DVD. How many versions of AOD on DVD does this make? Well, as far as legal region 1 editions, the new Boom Stick edition from Anchor Bay makes it whopping 7 versions released on DVD in the U.S. alone! 7 Editions! This is one the funniest horror comedies... though the humor is somewhat sophomoric, you'll laugh hard! This is more about the comedy than the horror, unlike the other two films, which you would also like. There was also less gore (surprisingly, because the other two were gory), so that was good. Features also lighten this up a notch, but more would have been better for a two-disc. Bruce Campbell's acting is very good, and he acts like "the hero". He also acted very well in the second one.
