A tale of two toxies!!!
When the notorious Diaper Mafia take hostage the Tromaville School for the Very Special, only the Toxic Avenger and his morbidly obese sidekick Lardass can save Tromaville. However, a horrific explosion creates a dimensional portal between Tromaville and its dimensional mirror image, Amortville. While the Toxic Avenger (Toxie) is trapped in Amortville, Tromaville comes under the control of Toxie's evil doppelganger, the Noxious Offender (Noxie). Will Toxie return to Tromaville in time to stop Noxie's rampage or is he doomed to remain a second-class citizen in Amortville forever? How did Toxie's wife Sarah become pregnant with two babies from two different fathers? Will Tito, the Retarded Rebel, ever get over his teen angst and become a productive member of society?
Citizen Toxie features the most formidable line-up of superheroes ever assembled, including Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD, Mad Cowboy, Dolphin Man, Master Bator and the Vibrator. Auteur director Kaufman has also assembled a cast that reads like a veritable reunion of Troma superstars, including Ron Jeremy, Lemmy, Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf, James Gunn, Kinky Finkelstein and many others. Hilarious and shocking; erotic and surprising. Citizen Toxie is full of unforgettable special effects-everyone is calling it a Tromasterpiece!

Oh My Goodness! - 3.5 out of 5 (5/22/2003)
Well, Toxie's back.
And he's taking no prisoners this time.
In fact, if you aren't offended at least three times in the opening five minutes of THE TOXIC AVENGER IV: CITIZEN TOXIE, then chances are pretty good that you own the original movie and watch it on a regular basis.
Gone is the sanitized PG-13 version of the Toxic Avenger that we saw in the last two sequels (and that horrible cartoon and comic book) and back is the trash talking butt kicking superhero who kills and maims all tha

BRILLIANT! But get the UNRATED DIRECTOR'S CUT version! - 5 out of 5 (9/15/2004)
Lloyd Kaufman is a genius making masterpieces on a budget that would barely be enough to pay for one day's catering on an average Hollywood producton and he does it for thirty years now. In a world where low budget independent filmmaking means manymultimillion dollar productions by subdivisions of Warner and Disney, Lloyd Kaufman survived for three decades (and counting) with his truly independent filmcompany Troma and in doing so directed, produced and/or wrote dozens of brilliant films. Easily Troma's most offensive movie yet - 4.5 out of 5 (6/9/2003)
I'll admit that this review is VERY biased because I think the world of the Toxic Avenger, Troma Studios, and their mastermind, Lloyd Kaufman. I've been a huge fan for years, own loads of their movies, and even traveled from the suburbs of Chicago to Milwaukee to see this film in the theatre (because somehow Toxie didn't make it to the Windy City). But I was convinced that they couldn't put out anything funnier than their last Kaufman production, Terror Firmer, and this may come close. Howeve
