Empire Review Leave your disbelief at the door please. - 3.75 out of 5  (5/21/2003) The original title of HALF PAST DEAD was LOCKDOWN. Quite frankly I'm not sure why they changed the title to HALF PAST DEAD but I suspect it was to give critics a leg up in coming up with a lead for their reviews. Take for example my first attempt: HALF PAST DEAD: is it a movie or is it Steven Seagal's career? But, that was just mean so I tossed it away. It was also way too easy.
