Cowards become heroes. And those who serve their country admirably are made out to be fools. If you're looking for a movie that will get your adrenaline rushing, this feature is more like a swift kick in the groin. Any excitement is neutered by needless sentimentality. The pomp and circumstance of the British Empire is wasted. Does not come close to the original by Kordova. If you rent this film, be sure to rent the original.
