Better than I thought - 3.5 out of 5 (4/3/2002)
Okay, I admit it.
I was one of the millions of people who didn't see DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE at the theater. It might have been because of that whole John Travolta three on, three off thing or it might have been because of the bad press the movie had during filming when Vince Vaughn, Steve Buscemi and screenwriter Scott Rosenberg got busted for disorderly conduct. Either reason though I didn't see the movie and neither did a lot of you out there.
And folks, let me tell ya, we all missed out

Must see! - 4.25 out of 5 (7/19/2002)
This is one of the few really good movies released lately (Don't Say A Word being another).Travolta is excellent, and the story line is very good. You won't have a problem staying interested in this one!

A well-performed and executed thriller... - 4 out of 5 (4/24/2002)
I was completely surprised by how much Domestic Disturbance thrilled and entertained me, considering the trailer I saw repeatedly prior to the movie contained a lot of stuff that apparently, didn't make it into the final cut. My guess is that the makers and the studio wanted to aim the movie, involving a young boy witnessing his new stepfather commit murder, at a younger audience in addition to its target. So I assume a lot of scenes were removed and certain profane words were altered in order t

The little train that might have !!! - 2.75 out of 5 (4/21/2002)
Now who honestly thought that this was a good movie - What shocked me was
the number of scenes that there in the movie trailer that never made it to
the final cut. I know the DVD has deleted scenes but there accounted for
less than 30% of what are missing from the trailer.
The reason why I rented this movie is because the trailer made a so-so
storyline look half decent. In the end, it was just like a poor made-for-TV
movie, I am glad I did not waste my $8 at the movies to see it.
