"Heart stopping… white knuckle… deep sea thrills." -David Ansen, Newsweek
In this thrilling, underwater action adventure from writer-director James Cameron (Titanic, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Aliens), a civilian oil rig crew is recruited to conduct a search-and-rescue effort when a nuclear submarine mysteriously sinks. One diver (Ed Harris) soon finds himself on a spectacular odyssey 25,000 feet below the ocean's surface where he confronts a mysterious force that has the power to change the world or destroy it. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn co-star.

Audio was in English & French Stereo ONLY - 2 out of 5 (12/31/2003)
Besdies being completely disappointed with the lack of 5.1 audio I found you couldn't manipulate through the scene indexes (on two DVD players). I got ripped off on this one!

No 5.1 Audio - 3 out of 5 (6/2/2002)
After purchase of this title at local store turns out the disc has english and french dolby 2.0 not english 5.1 as stated on back of box. The box should have french version written of front but does note! If you expect 5.1 audio from this disc, it may only be 2.0
