Empire Review A good family film! - 3.5 out of 5  (5/21/2003) When Robert Townsend is on, the man is on. If you need proof of that, witness films like HARLEM SHUFFLE, THE FIVE HEARTBEATS or THE MIGHTY QUINN. But even when he is off, the guy is just as entertaining, and for that you can witness one of his underrated films: THE METEOR MAN. The movie takes the old premise of "what would you do if you had super powers?" and gives it some new comedic twists that make this a fine family movie that is suitable for all ages (Redundancy anyone?)
