Blake Puts Viewers in a New York State of Mind - 4.25 out of 5 (11/15/2002)
Andrew Blake fans should be more than pleased with Justine, his latest film, which showcases the beautiful bodies of a number of women, including the cover girl herself and the always-watchable Aria Giovanni.
Although personally I believe that much of Blake's work is probably suited more to softcore fans than hardcore ones, there's no denying he is one of adult's best directors and always seems to deliver beautiful visuals that are captivating to watch.

When you run out of interesting titles for erotic movies, using the name of one of the main stars can work as well as any other suggestive phrase. In Andrew Blake's "Justine," the focus is not necessarily on the girl the title refers to. His films are stylish and cool, and the models look great, however, his films have lost their heat. This film has the usual posturing and pouting from the girls, but ultimately goes nowhere. The set-ups lack imagination and the scenes have no sapphic passion. Just what has he got against cunnilingus? Upon first viewing, the effect of Justine is an odd one. As fans of Blake know, his most recent works have involved almost exclusively girl-girl sequences, slow-motion photography, and have concentrated more on style and exoticism than sex and eroticism.
