Empire Review surprising, thought provoking film - 4 out of 5  (1/16/2003) A while back my girlfriend and I were spending a rainy Sunday afternoon on the couch and happened upon The Invisible Circus, fortunately just as it started. Even though this isn't a genre I frequent, it is a phenomenal movie. And it defies the normal Hollywood you-saw-that-coming type movie. No hero, with his beautiful love interest, beats the bad guy just in time during this movie.
