"Extremely Funny!" -Stephen Hunter, The Washington Post
He's found his mojo, baby, and now Austin Powers (Mike Meyers, Shrek) strikes gold in his newest 24-karat shagadelic comedy-adventure!
The "shhhh!" hits the fan when Dr. Evil and Mini-Me escape from prison. Joining forces with the superfreaky Goldmember, they kidnap Austin's father, master spy Nigel Powers (Oscar® winner Michael Caine), in a dastardly time travel scheme to take over the world. Before you can say "Shake your booty," Austin cruises to 1075 and teams up with sexy Foxxy Cleopatra (Beyonce Knowles R&B group Destiny's Child) to stop Dr. Evil and Goldmember from their mischievous mayhem.

The third and the best disc - 5 out of 5 (11/4/2002)
I spoke to a few people that told me that they thought GOLDMEMBER wasn't as
funny as either of the first two AUSTIN POWERS films. The odd thing is that
I thought it was perfectly on par with them. I suppose I have always seen
Mike Myers as a hot/cold kind of comedian. He has some bits that are
hysterical, and then he has some that he uses to death.
At any rate, the opening bit in this film alone is worth the price of
admission. I won't speak of this bit and I warn you to smack anybody t

Just not very funny - 3.25 out of 5 (1/14/2003)
Is Austin running out of steam. This is the least funny of the three movies. Spent most of the movie with a dumbfounded look on my face, saying to myself "is this stuff supposed to be funny". A few moments of chuckle, but this is just dull stuff. The character Goldmember should have been called Lamemember.

If you loved GOOOOOOLD... - 4.75 out of 5 (1/6/2003)
This was painfully funny. If you agree, nuff said. If not, same deal.
Bottom line is the bonuses on this compliment it PERFECTLY, and the fact that it looks as amazing as it does all on one disc is astonishing (same deal as Scorpion King really)
If you liked it, buy it. If not, the bonuses might lend some insight into what you're missing. :)

Austin Powers to the extreme - 5 out of 5 (12/13/2002)
I liked Goldmember, alot of people didn't, but it seems to me that Myers loves to exaggerate his characters the more times he plays them hence this Powers film is basically a parody of an Austin Powers film.
Throughout he acknowledges that the jokes are so re-used that you see them coming a mile off, that's why i found it funny, especially the whole subtitles thing.
Michael Caine, what more can you say, fantastic as Nigel Powers and i don't think there is anyone more gorgeous than Beyonce Know
