"A stylish andiintricate thriller stocked with powerhouse performers." -Newsweek
Winner of two 1995 Academy Awards®, including Best Original Screenplay, this masterful, atmospheric film noir enraptured audiences with its complex and riveting storyline, gritty, tour-de-force performances (including an Oscar®-winning* turn by Kevin Spacey) and a climax that is truly deserving of the word "stunning".

Beware of Keyser Soze, he is pulling the strings - 5 out of 5 (5/14/2002)
Audiences have always loved the crime drama. Nice, law-abiding people can sit in the safety of their theater and vicariously experience what it is like to live outside the law. Many of the top stars of Hollywood have come from this genre, Bogart, Cagney and Pacino have all become famous by playing criminals. With 'The Usual Suspects' you have the combination of a great cast, direction and story to hold you glued to the screen. The story starts with an explosion of a freighter, death and destruct

Almost Perfect - 4.5 out of 5 (4/1/2002)
"The best thieves to be found are those who are not the usual suspects."
And I do apologize if I got that quote wrong, nor can I accurately say where I got it from, but I did feel it important enough to dredge back up for my review on one of the most fascinating films of all time; THE USUAL SUSPECTS.
The film was the result of a second collaboration between Writer Christopher McQuarrie and Director Bryan Singer and it stemmed out of an idea that McQuarrie dreamed up on his lunch hour.

The Greatest Trick the Devil (Or a Movie) Ever Pulled... - 4.75 out of 5 (4/5/2002)
Nearly a year after the release of one of the great movie, Pulp Fiction, came The Usual Suspects, and has since been the only film to come close to matching the brilliance of Tarantino's movie in terms of ingenious plotting and remarkable acting. The film, directed by future X-Men director Bryan Singer and composed of an Oscar winning screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie, spars one of the single most brilliant plot twists in movie history. Strangely enough, this movie was released in not only the
