Not bad, now where's The Buddy Holly Story... - 4 out of 5 (8/29/1999)
Yet another excellent DVD from Columbia/ TriStar. The picture is almost perfect- no artifacts or noise, which has come to be expected from C/TS, but it has a reddish quality throughout the entire movie. The new 5.1 soundtrack is not so great however. The front three channels are used almost exclusively, there is almost no surround information at all. Thankfully, what is in the front channels sounds good and brings the music and dialogue to the viewer with clarity.
