Customer Review Decent sequel is another nail in the coffin for the death of horror! - 3.5 out of 5  (9/22/2002) So the films just barely ok,it's tolerable up until a point. It doesn't take itself nearly as serious as the first film,which helps it somewhat. Of course it ends up being a tame update of 80's slashers. While bloodier than the first,the film attempts to be like a 80's slasher..yet doesn't deliver anthing they did! You don't have the extreme over the top gore that makes you react wih shock,surprise & should have your date jumping into your arms. The film was a big improvment from the orignal, which is surprising.
