Meticulously restored frame byiframe with brilliant picture andisound quality. Starring Gregory Peck andiAudrey Hepburniin her Oscar-winning, first starring role.
Roman Holiday was nominated for ten Academy Awards, and Audrey Hepburn captured an Oscar for her portrayal of a modern-day princess rebelling against her royal obligations who explores Rome on her own. She meets Gregory Peck, an American newspaperman who, seeking an exclusive story, pretends ignorance of her true identity. But his plan falters as they fall in love. Eddie Albert contributes to the fun as Peck's carefree cameraman pal. Stylishly directed by William Wyler, this romantic comedy ranks as one of the most enjoyable films of all times.

One of the best romance films - 4.25 out of 5 (7/22/2004)
OK this aint no Casablanca or Gone With The Wind but its still a classic and I think its Audrey Hepburns best. (She's my favorite). It also stars Gregory Peck which he plays a reporter who later falls in love with the Princess(audrey hepburn). I am satisfyed with the DVD and the clean up is great. I just wish I could of bought the Audrey Hepburn DVD set b4. Now I have to buy Breakfast at Tiffanys and Sabrina alone. Overall I give this film a 5 outta 5

Audrey's performance is extremely fresh and natural; Gregory Peck's character is more complicated and he does a fantastic job, as we can see tears in his eyes in t
