Empire Review merely okay - 3.25 out of 5  (10/30/2002) Most likely you have heard some bad things about LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT. You might have heard it was too bland (or too blonde, as some critics said) or you might have heard that it was just the wrong part for Angelina Jolie. Well, I'm here to say that most of those statements are right. The film does lack a certain amount of chemistry between Jolie and her handsome leading man Ed Burns, and the film overall lacks any type of emotional punch.
