Empire Review Coo loo koo koo koo koo! - 4 out of 5  (9/27/2002) Good Day, eh. And welcome to our review of that magnum opus film called STRANGE BREW. Like, it was a monster of a film born of several sessions involving massive quantities of beer, donuts and backbacon. It probably didn't help either that our tooks were too tight. Instead, we get one of those cardboard containers and minimal bonus features, all for about 5 dollars more than MGM charges for these types of releases. The back of the box contains erroneous specs; the film was shot 1.85:1, not "scope", and the sound is 1-channel mono, not stereo.
