Synopsis
As You've Never Seen It!

High-flying martial arts and gravity-defying stunts come alive in this epic adventure splendidly choreographed by the legendary Xi-Xin Xiong in the style of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Matrix. With nonstop action and dazzling effects, The Washington Post exclaims, "The Musketeer rollicks and rolls!"

In a world threatened by war, one young man comes of age and decides to avenge the brutal murder of his parents. An impressive master of combat skills, he reunites the infamous Musketeers and returns them to their previous glory. All for one and one for all, they take off, armed with righteousness, ready to defend true justice.

With extraordinary performances by Catherine Deneuve, Mena Suvari and Tim Roth, it's the action-adventure as you've never seen it before!

East meets west seemed like a good idea at the time - 3.5 out of 5  (2/25/2002)
I watched THE MUSKETEER with the words "East meets West" echoing in the back of my head. The problem was that I watched the documentaries first and I heard that phrase a record number of times. It didn't hurt either that I figured out exactly what they were doing the moment I hit the play button for the movie. The story of D'Artagnan and the rest of the Three Musketeers has been filmed almost twenty times and so there doesn't seem to be much unexplored territory left. So, I guess it   more >>

Worst Musketeer movie I've ever seen - 2.5 out of 5  (7/22/2004)
Using Asian choreography for fight scenes are ok, easier to skewer you're opponent and save the extra energy for later (a dead opponent doesn't come after you again). On top of that, to have a final climax battle scene in heavy rain while people are shooting cannons and muskets is absurd, they wouldn't work.   more >>

Awful! - 2.5 out of 5  (12/5/2002)
Don't waste your time on this one. It's bad in every way possible.   more >>

Not worth it - 3.5 out of 5  (6/24/2002)
