Like new, great looking andifully loaded with laughs.
Jack Warden is brilliant in a double role as two feuding brothers Luke and Roy L. Fuchs, who own competing car lots and are trying to drive each other out of business. Rudy Russo (Kurt Russell) is Luke's ace salesman, a charming and conniving cheat and liar who is merely in training for his true ambition - politics. In one of Rudy's most outrageous advertising ploys, he hires a model (Penthouse Pet of the Year Cheryl Rixon) to strip on television, and the all wind up in a crazy automobile stampede involving 200 vintage cars in a high-speed chase that becomes a free-for-all demolition derby.

Step right up and get a cheap, and I do mean cheap copy of a fabulous movie
never before available on DVD. Yes sir, I am talking about USED CARS. Just
look inside the box and find those notes about Bob Zemeckis and Steven
Spielberg who produced the film, and check out the stellar cast of Kurt
Russell, Gerritt Graham, Jack warden and Jack Warden. Heck, you buy this
disc now and we will throw in completely free a Rudy Russo for Senate bumper
sticker as well as a laugh filled commentary by th

funniest movie ever - 3.5 out of 5 (8/23/2004)
This movie is Kurt Russel's best work. A movie about a down and out used car lot, up against a new modern outfit. It has a lot of personality and is non-stop laughs. If you've ever bought a used car you will be in on all the jokes. A rare comedic gem.

"50 Bucks Never Killed Anybody." - 3.75 out of 5 (2/13/2002)
Used Cars is definitive proof that many stars in Hollywood get their start in funny places. For Kurt Russell, it was considered quite a leap from his days as a leading actor in numerous Disney films. He was just coming off the rave reviews he received for his portrayal of Elvis in a successful TV movie. It was also a big step for the director, Robert Zemeckis, whose previous debut film, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, didn't seem to reach an audience. Used Cars, released at the exact same point of Airpl
