Empire Review Huh huh they said dick - 3 out of 5  (2/5/2002) LIFE WITHOUT DICK didn't get too much of a theatrical exposure, in fact, I'm not sure it got any at all. The inside word is that the film was judged unreleasable by the studio and so it went directly to that graveyard know as "Direct to video." If this is true, it makes me wonder what this movie didn't have that some gems like "Drowning Mona" did that made it so different, because truthfully this wasn't the worst movie I had ever seen, and it certainly wasn't the best.
