An action-packed horror film (*SPOILERS* INSIDE REVIEW*) - 4 out of 5 (6/19/2002)
Halloween: H20 proves that Laurie Strode, the babysitter from the 1978 classic, is still haunted by Michael Myers, the mentally deranged killer who has been made famous due to his infatuation with October 31st. My only gripes with this film is that it completely ignores Halloweens 4-6, and 4 and 5 were actually pretty good, while six was trash. However it does explain that Laurie faked her death and changed her name to Keri Tate, to ward off Michael. It never notes on her daughter, Jamie Lloyd,

Everyone knows the famed Halloween series. They are fast, fun scary films. I can't exactly say I am a true Halloween fan, since I haven't seen Halloweens three though six. I have seen one and two and H2O. But I can say Halloween H20 is the best of the ones I did see.
But a great flick like this wasn't thought out to well for the DVD. Every good DVD has, comentary by director or stars or both. Theatrical trailers, at least two behind the scenes freatures. H20 lacked this. One thirty minute

Ah, the dreaded tagline: H20. Halloween fans hung their heads in shame; that was until they left the first screening of the latest addition in the somewhat abused Halloween series. Director Steve Miner has done a very nice job here indeed. He deserves to be commended for keeping true to Halloween´s spirit.
