Empire Review Not what I expected - 4.5 out of 5  (2/4/2002) Let's get something out of the way first. GHOST WORLD has little to do with the world of ghosts. There are no spirits here, there is no demonic maniac with a knife and there is no little boy who sees dead people. I hope I didn't offend anyone with that opening remark but I have to confess that the film took me aback.
