Not your typical woody - 3.75 out of 5 (2/4/2002)
THE CURSE OF THE JADE SCORPION seems to be a Woody Allen movie made for
those people who hate Woody Allen movies.
How do I know this?
Well, I don't for sure, but I happen to be one of those who hate Woody Allen
movies and I found myself chuckling ten minutes into the film. Twenty
minutes after that point, I really decided that I liked the film.
So what's different?

Only purchase if you loved the film as much as I did. - 2.75 out of 5 (1/31/2002)
Film:
As I stated, 'only if you love the film..' and I really did. I personally don't get into Woody Allen that much, he reminds of my old boss, and frankly it gives me the willies. But this is the best film of his I have seen, in fact I would almost go as far to say that this was the most inventive comedy of 2001 (a really crappy year for comedies). The only other Allen movie I have enjoyed half as much as this one was 1995's "Mighty Aphrodite". But going back to the subject, I think this
