Lester Long Never Forgets A Friend.
He has a firm handshake, a ready smile, and some strange ideas about friendship. His name is Lester Long and when the bodies start piling up he generously decides to share the blame. Now the F.B.I. has got the whole town under observation, and Lester has put his new friend Clay over a barrel. The only way for Clay to set things straight is to beat one twisted individual at his own game of deceit and double-crossing.

Film Lovers - Don't Miss This Noirish, Sexy, Black Comedy Thriller - 3.5 out of 5 (1/2/2001)
Agree with other comments on weakness of the DVD Audio and Video, but what a great film! Performances of a lifetime by Vince Vaughn as Lester (the mo-lester) Long, and especially to Georgina Cates as ever-surprising very bad girl who finally meets her match. Janeane Garofalo comes into the picture late but takes it over as the acid-humored but still vulnerable FBI agent. Of course, all these great acting performances owe a lot to the smart, over-the-top script and the tight direction.

This is one good piece of art. I was looking for just a independent film. This is one of the best put together films I have seen. Up there with Red Rock West and U-Turn.

The friend confronts him about sleeping with his wife and the film is crazy from this point on. Clay Pigeons has a kind of Pulp Fiction feel to it. The movie isn't hard to follow like Pulp Fiction by being shot out of sequence, but it takes some very bizarre and sick situations and somehow ends up maki
