Bring on the midnight! - 4 out of 5 (2/5/2001)
I usually stop most conversations about great comedians when I bring up the
fact that my favorite performance of Ben Stiller in "Permanent Midnight." I
usually get hit with the fact that it's not a comedy but if you think about
it, it is. I mean: the movie is the true story about the guy who wrote

Stiller Is A Great Drug Addict. - 3.25 out of 5 (8/8/2001)
this is a great movie. especially if you like drug type flicks and are a ben stiller fan. stiller is a actor, this role proves that. not sure why they put elizabeth hurley in this movie, she and stiller have very poor on screen chemistry.
overall a great movie. i have watched it twice already. really suprised me and my friends.

Not a bad movie, yet not a very good one. If you're really confused about what to get then this might not be a very bad chioce, yet its not a catch.

drug addiction, and it will not be the last, but
it is a fantastic showing of how drugs do not
discriminate, that they ruin the lives of not
only inner-city people with little to live for,
but also rich, well off people, like TV writer
Jerry Stahl, (Stiller) who makes five grand a week
doing what he loves but spends six grand a week
on coke and heroin. This is a fabulous performance
from Stiller, and a brilliant career move. Not
