ll - 4 out of 5 (5/18/1999)
The Movie:
Could yet another adaptation of the Cinderella story really be all that interesting? You bet it can. Ever After, starring Drew Barrymore, is yet another Cinderella story among the crowd. This one is different though; with a well crafted screenplay this adaptation of Cinderella has a believable story and manages to stand out from the crowd.

Good Movie, no Extras - 3.75 out of 5 (10/6/2001)
This is a Cinderella story unlike any I've seen. I would not have watched this if I had known the title of the move, but I stumbled across it on HBO and...Well Drew Barrymore is the reason I watched. Cinderella is a tough babe in this movie (not like Charlie's Angels) unlike Disney's protrail. Check it out, I'm sure you'll like it.

A pleasant suprise, but where are the features? - 3.25 out of 5 (3/26/1999)
I must admit it, I was pleasantly suprised by the movie. It has a good storyline, and good acting. This is a wonder retelling of a classic story.
For a list price of $35 ( you can get it less here), I expect more than just one trailor! The Video is very crisp (although not anamorphic) and the audio is good too.
A good movie, better then I expected, but not sufficent features for price.

Enchantingly Funny. - 3.75 out of 5 (3/12/1999)
a very entertaining movie...
i love the musical score...,
it holds the movie very well...
i think the pumpkin is more belivable than having
da vinci as the fairy godfather...
i wish they would have finished the song that is being played on the menu
(like they did with apollo 13)
if you liked "dangerous beauty" then this is for you...
my wife saw this movie twice already she love's it...
