die hard again! - 4.25 out of 5 (11/30/2000)
A little known Hollywood fun-fact is that "Die Hard With a Vengeance" was originally written to be "Lethal Weapon 4." Apparently the script was not suitable for Riggs and Murtaugh, so the character names were turned into Maclane and Zeus and the script went full steam ahead.
This point doesn't make the movie any less entertaining, but it is one heck of a way to start a review! If you do look at the script as compared to the other "Die Hard" films, you might find this one just a little bit mor

ll - 4 out of 5 (5/18/1999)
The Movie:
Die Hard fans, your time has come. The Die Hard Trilogy has been released on DVD and it is an all around excellent set. All three films in the series are presented in their original aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and although they are not 16x9 enhanced most fans of the series will be very happy with the sets quality.
Die Hard: With a Vengeance, the third film in the series, splits from the normal Die Hard formula and ends up becoming a very good action film. Bruc

An exciting ride. - 3.5 out of 5 (6/9/1999)
This is a good die hard movie and is slightly different from the others. Although this is a very wild ride, it can become tedious. The camera work is pretty sloopy. There are some funny moments.
The audio and video are pretty good, but neither are perfect or anything special. There is a very small ammount of features, a short featurette and 3 trailers.
Buy the trilogy, all action fans.

The Best of the Three.....With a Vengeance indeed... - 4.5 out of 5 (5/29/1999)
Very rarely does a third film in a movie series outshine it's predecessors. There have been only two sequels that I thought have done such an accomplishment. They were "Lethal Weapon 3" and the third film in the hugely successful "Die Hard" series, "Die Hard With a Vengeance". This one succeeds I think because it never loses momentum of action and suspense. Another reason is that this installment took a chance in having the entire city of New York held hostage, which is exciting enough. It felt

Action + Quality = Get this DVD! - 4 out of 5 (3/17/1999)
Great transfer! This movie is alot of fun as unrealistic as it is. But hey, it's just a movie!
The sound quality is good, but I think more could have been done with the 5.1. Sometimes the sub woofer is overwhelming, to the point where I had my Infinity woofer, down to almost nothing.
Picture quality is nice, good colors, however I feel the scenes in the Aquaduct where a little below average.
Would have been nice for them to include some extra features with this DVD, like behind the s
