Robert Wise adds some zip to The Motionless Picture - 4 out of 5 (10/31/2001)
When I was a kid and I had trouble falling asleep some nights (particularly on Christmas Eve), I used to plop Star Trek: The Motion Picture into the VCR. By the time the Enterprise made it into the mysterious cloud, I was far into dreamland.

The *BEST!* - 4.25 out of 5 (10/8/2002)
This was the last one to be released on dvd and by far the best so far! Hopefully, the other trek movies will follow and will also have "Director's Releases." Seeing this the way the director intended is always the best way to go!

Well done - 4 out of 5 (5/13/2002)
A triumph over the original release. Can't wait for The Wrath of Khan to get the same kind of treatment.
