A thinking horror film - 3.25 out of 5 (10/17/2001)
George Romero is best known for NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and because of
that, people sometimes think of him as a gore auteur, but the conversation I
continually have at parties (is that sad or what?) is that the film worked
best of all not because of what you could see, but more of what you could
not. And that is the main reason why that film remains one of the most
terrifying films ever made.
But, we are not here to talk about that film, we are here to talk about his

That's the George we know and love - 4.5 out of 5 (12/1/2001)
Strange plot, good direction, sub-par cast. This we've come to expect from Romero. With the Misfits video and performance, Bruiser finally rocks the ears as well.
