Two hundred and fifty years in the future, life as we know it is threatened by the arrival of Evil. Only the fifth element (played by Milla Jovovich) can stop the Evil from extinguishing life, as it tries to do every five thousand years. She is helped by ex-soldier, current-cab-driver, Corben Dallas (played by Bruce Willis), who is, in turn, helped by Prince/Arsenio clone, Ruby Rohd. Unfortunately, Evil is being assisted by Mr. Zorg (Gary Oldman), who seeks to profit from the chaos that Evil will bring, and his alien Mercenaries.

I like it - 4.75 out of 5 (12/10/2001)
At first I wasn't sure about this whole idea of superbit, but after looking
at it for a while and actually trying out one of the discs, I have to admit
I see some merit in it.
To start at the beginning, DVD was made for the customer who cared about
what they were seeing. Extras, features and documentaries were just icing on
the cake. The real attraction however was a movie that was in the purest
form after theatrical distribution.

Fantastic Video and Sound - 4 out of 5 (4/22/2003)
Excellent video transfer coupled with DTS sound makes this a "must own" for anyone who enjoys the pleasures of premium Home Theater!!!
