Of all theiworldsiin all theigalaxies, why did they pick this one?
In 1958, all folks had to worry about were communists, Elvis Presley and...invaders from space. When an alien spaceship lets loose some gooey green men on a small Midwestern town, Main Street USA becomes Strange Street USA! This eerie sci-fi creeper unveils an out-of-this world plot that moves furiously "towards a full-throttle inspirational climax" (Time)!
When Professor Bigelow's (Paul Le Mat) wife abruptly leaves him to return to her hometown of Centerville, Illinois, he has no idea that following her there would pull him into a close encounter with something otherworldly...and quite possibly sinister. With the help of a ditzy tabloid reporter (Nancy Allen), Bigelow attempts to expose some real extraterrestrial shockers - which of course no one believes - until the kidnapping of his daughter for a ride into space forces the professor to teach these invaders a lesson in vigilantism!

better known and better received satire on those alien invasion movies from
the 1950's. That movie was called STRANGE INVADERS and despite all
appearances it is not meant as a sequel.
The story begins in 1958 when a group of aliens come to Centerville
Illinois to start life anew on the planet Earth. Why this is does not get
mentioned, but we
