Sometimes the editor is mightier than the sword! - 3.75 out of 5 (3/7/2002)
Highlander 2. The mere mention of this film in its original form (Highlander 2:The Quickening) can send chills up the spine of even the most hardcore Highlander films. The first time in the theater (yea, I'm the guy who went) I could only stare in wide eyed disbelief and say "what the @$%# were they thinking?" THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! - 5 out of 5 (8/21/2001)
And this is it, this film is the best in the series (although the other films are good) the story is better plotted than the other films, the action is more exciting and Lambert and Connery work well together. Forget what bad reviews tell you of this film, simply enjoy it for what it is, a rollicking action film, and to boot you get an excellent commentary by director Mulcahy and producers Davis and Panzer.

My worst film ever! - 2.5 out of 5 (6/20/2001)
The original Highlander is one of my favorite films, cracking pace, good balance of effects and story line.
Highlander 2 however has NO PLOT WHATSOEVER and you should definitley NOT buy this film. The effects are ropey and I can only feel sorry for the actors caught up in this feast of ineptitude.
Highlanders 3 & 4 are better.
I you buy Highlander 2, then don't say I didn't warn you!
