Empire Review The Movie: - 3.75 out of 5  (1/2/1999) The Movie: Harrison Ford stars as Jack Ryan in this film based on the best selling book by Tom Clancy. Unlike most action movies the hero in this film isn't out to save the world or even his country, he is out to save his wife and daughter. After sabotaging an assassination attempt, while on vacation in London, he and his family become the target of the terrorists. Ford's performance in this film is wonderful. (Bad joke, I know) - 4 out of 5  (4/6/1999) This is one of Harrison Ford's best movies. In the tradition of some of his other movies, the tension really does not let up when he is in trouble. There is a lot of fun military action also, plus a nice scene filmed at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. Action fans will enjoy this movie. As you can tell by my stupid tag line, the DVD needs more features. The audio and Video are fine (although not 16X9 video), but a movie as great as this should have more thrown in then a trailor!
