Synopsis
When there isino more roomiin hell... theidead will walk theiearth.

This sequel to Night of the Living Dead is filled with splattered blood and brains in living color. The dead have come back to life to eat the living. This is the story of four people's escape from an urban nightmare to a suburban one. They barricade themselves in a shopping mall and try to start new lives. Much of this movie was filmed outside Pittsburgh.

My all time favourite film of all time! - 3.75 out of 5  (9/27/1999)
As you can see from the one line summary above,I am slightly biased when it comes to reviewing this film.It's great to actually be able to see the full version of this film (for years my only copy was an ex-rental video which was cut substantially for UK release,a version which had the scene at the police dock cut so that Joe Pilato,later to be the psycho captain in Day of the Dead,didn't even appear!).I still remember the first time I saw the film as a late night show in Reading about 15 years   more >>

This film is about as much fun as you'll ever have with zombies. It is undoubtably the best of the 'Dead' series (I'm not a great fan of 'Night' and 'Day' was pretty lame)and worth buying on DVD if you are a fan. The fact that it must be flipped half-way wasn't a great hassle when watching the whole film through, but when having a casual flick through to check out the good bits, it became very annoying. This film is amybe the best one of the series. Action never stops and your heart pounding like it gonna get out.Eveywhere zombies in this film. As for technical,video is not great,features are not good. Flipping the disc kills me.I think everybody else too. They could have eliminate that.   more >>
