Jessica Lang is a scorned woman who seeks sweet revenge by manipulating a sexual temptress names Jenny (Elisabeth Shue) into doing her dirty work. A satisfying tale of revenge - 4.25 out of 5 (6/26/2002)
There are revenge movies with lots of blood and guts and there are revenge movies, like Cousin Bette, that involves the bloodless total destruction of human beings. This movie adaptation of Honoré de Balzac's novel is set in France in 1846, immediately before the revolution.
