Empire Review One Night At McCool's - 4 out of 5  (11/2/2001) How many times can a story be told? In this movie it is three times all by different people and different perspectives. For instance, Jewel reminds Randy more of his mother, Carl sees her as a Sex Goddess, and Detective Dehing sees her as this dead wife Teresa. You are never told or made to understand which view is accurate to what really happened that ONE NIGHT AT MCCOOL'S. Randy meets a hit man Mr. Burmeister played by Michael Douglas at a bingo joint.
