Good film, terrible DVD transfer - 2.25 out of 5 (9/13/2000)
Though not quite as good the second time around, "Clockers" is still a satisfying film with a another top-notch performance by Harvey Keitel. Unfortunately the disc is ruined by the most horrific DVD transfer I have ever seen (even worse than "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels").

The film is a rare urban murder mystery. Strike, played in a stunning debut by Mekhi Phifer, is the top "clocker" in Brooklyn. A clocker is a street name for a 24-hour drug dealer. Strike's bo
