Down-on-their-luck brothers Lars and Ernie Smuntz don't think much of the crumbling old mansion they inherit...until they discover that their dilapidated estate is actually worth millions. Excellent Movie for kids and adults. - 4.5 out of 5 (5/26/1999)
This movie has "classic slapstick Tom and Jerry (except jerry is human)" written all over it. Some kids may be turned off by its dark and twisted feel, but let me say that for a kids movie, this is extremely fun and daring. Any fan of Saturday Morning Cartoons will enjoy this twisted dark adult kid film.
The DVD is reference quality. Not being a collector's title, this still has a nice ammount of features. The video can be full or wide, both have stunning visual quality, never getting gra

Mouse Hunt proves that Dreamworks outnumbers Universal - 4.5 out of 5 (2/3/1999)
"Mouse Hunt" is one of the first releases from Dreamworks on DVD, and they have done a splendid job. Dreamworks releases are much like that of Universal's, except with more features. Given that this isn't under a collector's series, the quality is very impressive. Some deleted scenes, as well as a couple of trailers. Good audio transfer, and it is also in spanish and french, which adds even bigger laughs to the already hilarious moments in this very funny movie.

Another DreamWorks masterpiece - 5 out of 5 (1/31/1999)
Imagine "Tom and Jerry" written and directed by the Coen brothers! Wild!! Funny for childrens from 4 to 90 years old. The DVD is a top quality transfer disc.
