A GREAT MODERN SAMURAI MOVIE! - 3.25 out of 5 (1/31/2003)
This is a really good action drama of the martial arts genre. J.F. Lawton has found the perfect mix of old, fuedal and new, modern Japan. In a nutshell: Christopher Lambert is Paul Racine a western computer tech. on business in Japan. By a chance meeting with the beautiful Joan Chen he is unknowingly thrust in the middle of an ancient fued between Takeda (Yoshio Harada) and Kinjo(John Lone). As Racine struggles to stay alive he learns his own lessons in the ancient Samurai philosophy of Bushido.
