With spies like these who needs enemies?
They're double agents without a sneaking suspicion of their assignment. But if it has anything to do with comedy, it's sure to be "mission accomplished" for Saturday Night Live alumni Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd, romping through their first movie together: Spies Like Us.
As two government desk jockeys who cheat their way through a civil-service entry exam and (incredibly) become globetrotting undercover operatives, Aykroyd and Chase generate the verve and spontaneity of a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby road movie. (Indeed, Hope turns up in a cameo, golf club in hand.) Top Secret. Eyes only. And laughter assured.

John Landis directed the film based on a story by Dan Aykroyd and Dave
Thomas. It stars Chevy Chase and Aykroyd as two idiots who want to get into
the spy game. The problem is there was an abrupt en

Spies Like Us - D- - 2 out of 5 (6/27/2002)
This is your standard, 'Okay, let's just put the videotape on DVD and it'll sell'. Avoid it until a more appropriate version is released. Protest is surrendering your money for only better releases.

Hilarious! - 5 out of 5 (3/10/2001)
This is a classic movie that can be watched over and over. It's very funny and has a good story involved. The only bad thing is that there is no Widescreen format. Anyways, it's worth buying.

VHS quality DVD - 2.25 out of 5 (10/19/2000)
Love the movie, the DVD quality was the same as you would expect for a VHS with no real extras.
