BED ON WHEELS - 4.75 out of 5 (10/17/1999)
Canadian author-director David Cronenberg does have one of the most coherent filmographies of today cinematographical landscape. A one and only motto : The Marriage of Flesh and Metal and its derivations. Well, it's not the philosophical subject by essence but David Cronenberg also is not a common director. Great !!! - 4.5 out of 5 (1/6/1999)
Crash is one of the best and bravest film of the decade. Cronenberg made a perfect movie. Of course, it's not your average saturday night flick. But try it. You'll love it or you'll hate it but you will have experienced something unique. Forget the R-rated version. These censors didn't get it. The sex scenes are not a part of the movie, they are the movie. It makes no sense without them. These guys are really stupid. Die, censorship, die !

of the J.G. Ballard novel is a remarkable view of perhaps
the ultimate fetish. James Spader plays James Ballard (a little self-revealing from J.G.?) the lead who nearly dies
in a car crash. What follows is a descent into a bizarre world
of obsession revolving around death and sex. Not for the uptight,
this is a fascinating look at a world that most couldn't even
dream of.
Ask yourself this question: why do people slow do
