I want my mummy ultimate - 4.25 out of 5 (10/1/2001)
I think the thing that was tossed about the most about THE MUMMY RETURNS is the fact that the Rock played a part in the film. I won't deny that but it really wasn't a significant enough part to warrant all that attention. Nor does it excuse the fact we have to watch an extended trailer for the SCORPION KING not once, but twice before we get to see the film we paid for.
And another thing I keep hearing is that some people are passing on this disc because they are waiting for an ultimate editi

The mummy has returned with a companion - 4.5 out of 5 (11/23/2001)
The follow up to the Mummy,The Mummy Returns is a really enjoyable to watch.
It has humor,suspense,action,adventure and everything you would want in a film in this genre.
In a addition to the cast of the first film we get to see newcomer Freddy Boath and
Rock as The Scorpion King..
Watching Boath is really fun and I guess he will be the future Brendan Fraser:)

This is a GREAT movie !! - 5 out of 5 (11/14/2001)
The Mummy Returns, as great as the original was, blows it away. Non stop action, humor, suspence. If you want to escape in a feature and just have fun, THIS IS IT !! Great extra features that keep you entertained. Didn't appreciate "The Rock" pauning "The Scorpion King" at the begining, after that your solid. A MUST HAVE!
