"Gear-shattering, ground-pounding action." -Mark S. Allen, UPN-TV
The on-track excitement and off-track romantic pursuits of race-car drivers form the revved-up heart of Driven, starring and written by Sylvester Stallone.
He plays a talented veteran driver who confronts the lost potential of his past when called out of retirement to mentor a talented but unfocused rookie contender (Kip Pardue), whose destructive behavior pursuing the girlfriend (Estella Warren) of his primary racing rival (Til Schweiger). DRIVEN - 4.5 out of 5 (11/25/2001)
Testosterone fuelled and revving action, DRIVEN is one movie that is neither GREAT nor is it just mediocre. You come away after watching it, ready to watch it again to see what it was you just watched. Was it a revving action flick or an overzealous attempt to sell products. *snickers* Perhaps both! Did it matter? Not to this reviewer. For one, Stallone was the star; therefore who can be cheated and for another reason, the special effects in this rowdy movie are mind boggling.

POOR SLY - 3.75 out of 5 (3/1/2002)
Did you know that Sylvester Stallone was voted "the worst actor of the century" in 2000? Wow, what an embarrassment!!
Ok, I remember seeing this movie in theatres w/ only two other people in there w/ me, which says enough about how many tickets were sold at the box office, but anyway.
The movie is fast, and it's furious, sound familiar??
Stallone's screenplay is filled w/ speed, wreckage, (like his career,) romance, and more wreckage and speed to burn. Also starring is long time hang-arounder

Stallone is still No 1. - 5 out of 5 (11/13/2001)
The film might not win any Oscars but if their was one for entertainment it would. It might be 2 hours of eye candy but is the sweetest. The visual and audio qualities are superb, and the extra features compliment the film nicely.
